Tolo is a pretty seaside village running the length of the famous golden sandy beach named "Psili Ammo" and has about 2000 permanent residents. The summer season attracts many tourists and Tolo is found just 1 2 kms from Nafplion. Residents are engaged mainly in fishing and in tourism. Tolo has a natural beauty and there are three islands in the bay, the Apostles, Romvi and Daskalio, makes the panoramic view spectacular. The sea of Tolo is known to be one of the warmest seas in Greece, which is ideal for winter swimmers as well as summer holidays.
Every autumn a festival is organized called the "Trawlers" where all the fishermen of the village fish the freshest fish from the sea, fry them or bake them and offer free to tourists along with music, dancing and drinking as a tribute to the slowly receding summer season! From Tolo you are able to explore the beautiful islands of Hydra, Spetses and Poros and leave with beautiful memories.
The patron saints of Tolo are St. Constantine and St. Helen and a chuch dedicated to them is found in the centre of the village and is celebrated on May 21 every year!
Tolo has many tourist shops, tavernas and hotels and the walk is very pleasant!
